Ad Age’s 40 Under 40 recognizes talented individuals in the world of media and marketing. The successful candidate will have been personally responsible or part of team at a marketer, media company or agency who has helped to advance the business or the brand in some demonstrable way in the last 12 months. We are looking for people who are unafraid to challenge business models or blaze new trails, those who have applied creative thinking to a marketing problem, and those who have attained success and notoriety in their industry at a young age. Examples might be the brand manager who turned around an ailing business; the creative director who masterminded a campaign that has stuck a cultural nerve; the media director who has come up with a creative new way to tell a brand story; the digital thinker who has implemented a new program or reinvented an old one; the sales director at a media property who has found a way to bring fresh thinking and new marketing dollars to the brand. We are seeking digital stars, programmatic geniuses, new business rainmakers, data scientists and entrepreneurs as well as up and comers in more established companies.

Please tell us in 250 words or less why you believe this person is a candidate for 40 Under 40. We are looking for people who will be under the age of 40 by April 3 who have made a significant contribution to the worlds of media, advertising or marketing within the last year. The brand manager who has launched a successful new product. The data whiz who has come up with a new way to find marketing insights. The media star who has reinvented a medium or has significantly contributed to a successful new program. We are looking for paradigm breakers, smart thinkers and thought leaders who are really making a difference and who are tipped to climb company ladders. The goal is to identify the people who are reshaping marketing and making important contributions to a company or business. Please be specific in outlining their accomplishments in the last 12 months.
